We leave for Kazakhstan tomorrow. It's hard to describe the emotional roller coaster we're on. We're beyond excited to meet our new child. At the same time, we're heart broken to leave Amber and Mitchell here in California. I'm sitting here watching the Angel game, while Jacob is playing in the bath, really enjoying the calm. Don't worry mom, I can see the TV and bath tub at the same time...

I've spent most of the day thinking about how we got to this point. After a year and a half, we're both still so excited. There are so many people we are indebted too, who not only contributed to our adventure, but really made it possible. We are so grateful to so many people, I thank The Lord everyday for the wonderful people He has placed in our lives.

I want to take a moment and thank you all. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful supportive family, from Rick and Pam (Kim's folks), to Barb (Jeff's Mom) and Gary (Jeff's Dad) to our brothers, Geoff and Jim and their wonderful families. Even my 91 year old Grandfather "Papa" who is always so supportive. Cora and SC (Kim's Grandparents) have also been so supportive. I can go on and on....We are very thankful to all of you. We love you all very much.

So many people have offered to support us, and we ask that you please continue to pray for our safety, pray that our new child that he/she will have a safe wonderful life, full of love and happiness.

Next entry from Germany or Kazakhstan or who knows, I pray God is blessing you all.

Kim and Jeff, I read your website and what a blessing you both have each other and the big heart you both have to bring another child into your family. I will keep your family in my prayers and ask a special intention for your new journey in mass next Sunday.

Hey Werkmeisters and Goachers! If I'm correct, you guys are probably on a train right now heading for Taraz. I'm so unbelievably excited. You guys are experiencing a miracle of life and you're in Joe and my thoughts constantly. We're so happy for you and cannot wait for more details. Please let us know if there's ANYTHING we can do for you. Oh, and if Amber and Mitchell would like to hang out or go to a movie, we'd love to see them! Take care, be safe, and enjoy the adventure!

Love and hugs from us!
Jesi and Joe Goacher

Dear Kim, Jeff, Jacob, granny Pam and grandpa,
I am so excited for you guys, what an awesome experience! Just think, God knew when you were born you would end up being where you are and bringing Dasha home to be part of your "forever family". It won't take too long for her to trust you and fall in love with all you, you are a great family. We will continue our thoughts and prayers for you all. Amber and Mitchell came home with us yesterday-they are fine. Max and Dottie are good too.
Love, the Phipps 4
